Wish the bar opened earlier for day drinking! Love the dive vibe and games. Some better wines for the ladies might help since it is bottles only.
Visiting from LA, excellent bar with good service and fun games to play to pass the time. Would definitely recommend!
Great service and ambiance. Staff was super friendly and helpful in giving advice about local attractions. Also very affordable and attracts pretty friendly local hipster type crowd.
been coming to the goose for a few years now. Let me just say- ignore the one star reviews. This bar is one of the few remaining spots that actually has the st. pete vibe to it. Bartenders are fantastic, especially Justin and Jen!! If you're looking for something a little more lowkey but still want to socialize with everyone, this is your spot. The drinks are great, pool is cheap, and everybody has a good time!
This is one of those rare St Pete institutions that survived the pandemic. This is an OG bar that gets a lot of long time St Pete residents. I once enjoyed a friend of mine who grew up here, running into an ex, whose awkwardness escalated when another ex showed up, then another, culminating in an awkward crescendo of I shit you not 5 exes! They ended up kind of sitting in a circle surrounding her sharing stories and kind of got along. The only one that really looked like they were living their personal waking nightmare was her. Good times were had by all. Well except her.
